about the meadow between

about the meadow between
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.

— Rumi

Welcome to the meadow between.

This is a place for pausing, reflecting, and finding renewal in life’s in-between spaces. Like the prairie itself — resilient, diverse, deeply rooted — we live much of our lives on thresholds: not what we once were, not yet what we will become.

the meadow between is where I write about those liminal spaces. You’ll find reflections drawn from prairies and native gardens, spiritual metaphors, and invitations to slow down. My hope is that, as you linger here, you’ll feel both grounded and gently opened to the mystery of becoming.

Why the Meadow?

Meadows are between places — neither forest nor field, wild nor tame. They hold a richness born of diversity and a strength rooted deep beneath the surface. They are resilient landscapes, full of life that knows how to bend, rest, and return.

In the same way, our lives are often lived in the between: on the edges of change, in passages of uncertainty, in the pauses where renewal begins. Rather than rushing past these spaces, the meadow between invites us to dwell in them as sacred ground.

An Invitation

This is not a place for quick reads or productivity hacks. It’s a space to breathe differently. To step into the meadow, pause at the edge, and notice what stirs in the between.

I’m so glad you’re here. Welcome to the meadow between.
