about the meadow between

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.
— Rumi
Welcome to the meadow between.
This is a space for slowing down, for dwelling in the thresholds of life — those liminal places between what has been and what is yet to come. Like the native prairies, which are both expansive and rooted, resilient and fragile, the “between” places in our lives hold deep wisdom.
Here you’ll find reflections grounded in the land and alive with metaphor, invitations to pause and renew, and reminders that the in-between is not empty.
It’s fertile ground for becoming.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
There is a field. I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
The world is too full to talk about.

why the meadow between?
The meadow is a threshold — neither forest nor field, neither wild nor cultivated. It is a place of diversity, resilience, and surprising beauty. In the same way, our in-between seasons hold the possibility of renewal, if we dare to linger there.
This is not a space of rushing or striving. It’s a space to be met, to rest, to reflect — a space where, in Rumi’s words, the world is “too full to talk about.” It's simply a space to be.
