Love, love, love this. The in between...the both/and. Its been a theme in my practice with others and a constant reminder with myself over the last few years. Your story is such a beautiful example and reminder to me of liminal spaces, like our space in the KC area of woodlands to grasslands. It is a definite ah-ha for me. I am a leaner toward the woodlands of Missouri more than the grasslands of Kansas and I enjoy both. However its been my longtime passion to live in the treetops. One of my sons contends he will build that for me one day. :) I think most of us in this time period are living in between...and its hard and challenging, especially on our nervous systems and sometimes then on our bodies. And its exciting. Who says getting older at this time is boring. Not my experience at all. Thank you for these inspirations on this fine very, very hot Sunday morning. Another in between space, the coolness of last week and now the scorching heat. And the reminder of being Still....yes, being still. Big sigh.
